SHOW GOD'S LOVE

Our 2012 Nicaragua team is now back home, but the rejoicing continues as they consider how God worked during their time there. Working alongside Nicaraguan brothers and sisters, the crew doubled the size of the church in Tipitapa. They now have more space for their church body to worship, more space for them to invite neighbors, friends and family to hear about Jesus’ love. Their community saw North Americans come day after day to work in the hot sun to build a larger place of worship. We pray that they saw the love that was expressed, and that their curiosity will drive them to attend a church service.

The team hosted a children’s program for the boys and girls in two other communities in addition to Tipitapa. They visited Ciudadela and Cristo Rey: churches that our Gateway team built in 2010. It was exciting to recognize children and parents from two years ago! Those churches continue to make improvements to their buildings and to reach out to their communities.

The team is grateful for each one who contributed to the construction costs and gifts and crafts for the children. God provided for each need.

The 2013 dates have been set: July 16 – 29. Begin now to pray about participating! Allow God to stretch you!
